Bartın Culture

Amasra Castle was built in Roman Times.It was conquered by Fatih Sultan Mehmet.



The lenght of east ramparts is 65m, The lenght of south ramparts is 300m, lenght of north ramparts is 200m.50m of west ramparts is strong.

The white parts of eggs are used for construction.It wash restorated in 2001 and it is used for tourism purpose ofter that time.

It’s estimated that the oldest masque of Bartın is Orduyeri Masque which was built in 1805. It’s collapsed in 1954 and todays masque was built instead of it.
